Skeptic: Examining Extraordinary Claims and Promoting Science

Media Appearances

Dr. Shermer has presented the Skeptics’ point of view in more than 65 television, radio, magazine, and public speaking events. Bringing scientific analysis and reason into public discourse is central to the mission of the Skeptics Society. We believe that our involvement in the media supports a public atmosphere of questioning potentially dangerous assumptions, debunking anti-social myths, and exposing fraudulent schemes.

Many thanks to our numerous benefactors who contribute much needed financial support. Without you the skeptical voice would be significantly harder to hear.
