It all depends upon how narrowly one defines "God". If by God one means an entity defined largely by a religious culture, then one will have doubt if one has credibility. If one reduces the meaning of "God" to the uttermost and undeniable reality of the Universe (like physical and mathematical laws) then one can't deny "God" in that sense.

Read the entire bible. Try to find a loop hole. Fail miserably. Look at the history the bible mentions. An earthquake opening a jail cell. Guess who escaped? The Christians. Jesus DIED. Three days later, he's walking around with holes in his hands. Fact. Their are eye witness accounts of people watching Jesus walk around AFTER his death. How does science explain that? He was cut in hundreds of places on his body, nailed to a cross, tortured until he was dead, then stuck in a tomb for three days. You go and survive that. Then an at least one-thousand pound rock was moved from his tomb entrance and both of the tomb's guards were unconscious. Have science explain that. And by the way, I'm twelve and smarter than every atheist on the planet.

If this god is an all knowing, omnipresent entity that knows the past and the future, what a sick game it is playing. Thousands of years of people playing this game when the end result for each and everyone of us was known by the god before it even started, sick!

Get real, there isn't a god, only those who prey on the insecurities of the individuals (e.g. Jim Baker, Jim Jones, Jim Swaggart etc etc).

The catholic church molesting our children, the muslim mutilating the genitalia of women, the other christian religions constantly building bigger edifaces to honor the local pastors ego.

History shows that religions will use the latest weaponry at hand, be it a sword, rifle or an improvised explosive device to further their cause, how long till they get nuclear capability, and use it.

The world cannot afford your silly religions and superstitions. Give it up for my, and your childrens future.

Of course you need to think and question. The question is: was this whole universe and perfect organization came about on its own? answer that. Don't tell me particles were dropped to planet earth to create you and me.

For every beautiful architecture, there is an architect. God is above this example.

He groups Islam with Judaism and Christianity, I totally disagree. Muslims believe that Science is a reflection of God in a way where there is no contradiction between science and religion. Muslim scholars were scientists, physicians and astrophysics. Check your history.

Imagine your world black and white, look around you, there are signs for every human being. Just open our eyes. You already feel crappy when you don't know what is your purpose in life.

READ, keep on reading and you'll find explanations...

Mark/Jenna - to answer your question - NO a universe based on knowledge, truth and tolerant understanding is much better. I consider that it is now time to really mobilise the Anti-theist approach and create a tide of open questioning that should shake up the cosy, "religion based" attitudes where change can be ignored because it hurts to think!

LOL, where have you been for the last 50 years? Under a stone? It's been clear to everyone for the last many years that the true God is "The Spaghetti Monster".

Ohhh, hope I spelt his name correctly or he might turn me into a meatball!

But he loves me :/
