Crogers, Believed worthy of scientific study is not the same as believing in UFO's.

A few astronauts have said they believe in UFO's, they are probably more qualified than most to say that.

Read John Keel 'Operation Trojan Horse' for a perceptive view of what may be going on. There is a free pdf version out there somewhere.

I agree in part that belief is not a good basis for a subject that has never seen any concrete evidence turn up however, IMO this reality is illusory and that implies there are other realities which require our attention, also implying that life is far more complex than most of us are able to perceive.

Trevor, you are trapped by the words "believe" and "reported". Neither is the same as "evidence".

There actually have been reports of UFOs by astronomers. One is documented in Project Blue Book. The other was reported by Tombaugh. Dr. J. Allen Hynek (Astronomer) headed Project Blue Book and believed the UFO subject was worthy of scientific study. Dr. James McDonald (Physicist) also believed UFOs were worthy of scientific study. Dr. Jacques Vallee (Astrophysicist) did significant work in the UFO field and believed they were worthy of research.

Dr. Ed Mitchell (Astronaut) believes we've been visited. Other astronauts have also publicly expressed their knowledge of UFOs and the belief that SOME are of E.T. or non-human origin.
