I told a co-worker, who believes that prayer "works" to try a little experiment. When his prayers went unanswered I asked him if he still believed that prayer works, his answer, "Yes". As for maintaining a desire to convince the ignorant..... the key is "Expectations". I have low expectations of most people to whom I talk....some I don't bother wasting my breath. You can't go to Denny's and expect a gourmet meal.
