Derek Colanduno
Derek Colanduno grew up in Las Vegas. (That explains just about everything. Too close to Area 51 and nothing he could do about it.)
In 2006, Derek suffered a serious brain injury. He recovered to resume his role as co-host of Skepticality. He is Co-Director of Skeptrack, a four-day skeptics conference within Dragon*Con (among the world’s largest science fiction and fantasy conventions, held in Atlanta, Georgia every Labor Day weekend).

Swoopy
After Derek’s brain injury in 2006, Swoopy became a one woman podcasting machine. She is the primary writer, researcher, and post-production editor for the program.
With Derek, Swoopy is the Co-Director of Skeptrack, a four-day skeptics conference within Dragon*Con. She is also the Director of Dragon*Con’s podcasting track, Podcasting: Now and Beyond.
